The rent-seeking theory was born in the sixties of the last century of the Westernworld. Introducesfive main schools of rent-seeking theory and development in their respective fields.The fifth part of the rent-seeking and economic growth. This chapter focuses onrent-seeking activities, both positive and negative aspects of how it affects economicgrowth.The sixth part of the rent-seeking theory application in China’s reform. Asexemplified by China’s reform and explore the interaction of China’s reform andrent-seeking activities, as well as prospects for the future.
