Analysis On Rmb Cross-Border Trade Settlement In Northeast Asia Area

China launched RMB cross-border trade settlement pilot scheme in2009, so as to making RMB go abroad step by step and in a planned way. Border trading between China and Northeast Asia countries is frequent. But RMB settlement status in this area is much less than that in ASEAN region. This paper mainly studied the present situation and the obstacles of RMB cross-border trade settlement.This paper has the integrated use of theoretical and practice method, classification method and analysis methods like literature methodology. Firstly, generalizing the research achievements of domestic and international. The international monetary competitive theory, choice of currency internationalization theory and monetary theory provides a solid and reliable theoretical basis for the article. Secondly, this paper analyzes the overall development situation of the use of RMB cross-border trade settlement in the northeast Asia area,including RMB trade settlement area, structure and size, etc. Then, the positive and negative effects of RMB cross-border trade settlement in northeastern Asia are analyzed. We conclude that the settlement promotion is not only beneficial to our country, also to the rest from the analysis results. The fourth chapter is the core, mainly research the RMB cross-border trade settlement in northeast Asia area encountered obstacles respectively at home and abroad. And the last chapter put forward corresponding countermeasures.Due to it is not a unified economic region and there is large difference between each country, author divide these countries like north Korea, Mongolia, Russia, South Korea and Japan into three broad categories according to the current RMB trade settlement situation. Then puts forward the targeted countermeasures to further develop Northeast Asia RMB cross-border trade settlement business.
