Study On Building And Applying The Evaluation Model Of Eco-tourism Resources In Mountainous Of Northwest Of Fujian

Sustainable eco-tourism development should be based on eco-tourism resourcesand the reasonable utilization. Systematic and correct analysis and evaluation oneco-tourism resources can provide references for the sustainable development ofeco-tourism, and can also standardize and guide human behavior of interventing andreconstructing nature, resulting in agelong growth of economy, great progress ofsociety and effective protection of ecological environment. There fore, to constructthe scientific evaluation model for eco-tourism resources, will have strong bond withthe development of eco-tourism industry, the grasp of the order of nature and thesustainability of human society.There are abundant geographical resources in Fujian Province. Mountainsaccount for80%; Water accounts for10%; and fields account for10%. The northwestof Fujian is a strategic base of eco-tourism development. It has rich, excellent andprotosomatic eco-tourism resources because of relatively lower growth rate ofindustry and less destruction of ecological environment. Consequently，to study andestablish a set of evaluation model for eco-tourism development in moutain area,make the strategic goal for the eco-tourism development, and do well in the feasibilityanalysis and systematic planning of exploiting eco-tourism resources, will maketheoretical and practical sense in developing eco-tourism in mountain area in Fujian.Taining, as one of the key developing eco-tourism zones in Fujian, is a typicalmountain county, which has a favourable geographical location, prominenteco-tourism resources and a strong development momentum. In this article, the authorconducts a survey of eco-tourism in Taining County, then uses the method of SWOTanalysis to evaluate the process of strategic choice of further developing theeco-tourism. After that, applies Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to set up the FuzzyComprehensive Evaluation Index System of eco-tourism resources; chooses12samples (i.e.eco-tourism zones) in Taining; evaluates them and comes to a conclusionthat there are4first-class eco-tourism zones,6second-class and2third-class ones.Eventually, based on the research above, the author proposes that Taining should develop its eco-tourism resources according to the layout of “One Center and TwoSwings”; should achieve its goal, step by step, through recent actions, medium-termplan, long-term tactic, together with detailed supporting measures.
