On the background of the "two-oriented society" and the "low-carbon city",this article tries to build the evaluation index system and analysis the comprehensive benefit levels and coordination degree of low-carbon land use from2001to2010in Wuhan with the sustainable development of land use and other related theories. And through the factor degree model, to find the comprehensive benefit impact factors. On this basis, to analysis the comprehensive benefit of low-carbon land use by using the Spearman rank correlation coefficient and clustering analysis method. Putting forward to some related suggestions in combination with the practical situation of Wuhan city. The major conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) Carbon emission of Wuhan city is in the growth stage from2001to2006and the emission decreased from2007to2010. In different land-use types, carbon emission intensity of the construction land is the largest. There is little change in the carbon intensity of cultivated land, woodland, grassland, water area (garden) and unused land. The trends of construction land and carbon emission intensity in energy consumption are similar. But the pressure on the environment caused by the construction land has a tendency to be controlled.(2) Overall the level of low-carbon land use comprehensive benefit in Wuhan city is on the rise. Its ecological benefit, economic benefit and energy benefit are increased. And the biggest change is on ecological benefit. The second is economic benefit and energy benefit. The trend of the social benefit and efficiency benefit are relatively stable.(3) Analysising the low-carbon land use comprehensive benefit based on the time and space differences in Wuhan city. From the time dimension analysis, low carbon land use comprehensive benefit is in a trend of increasing in Wuhan city, and the increasing is significantly. The major obstacles of the increasing of low-carbon land use comprehensive benefit are social factors and ecological factors. The effect is reducing gradually. From the spatial dimension analysis, the highest level of low-carbon land use comprehensive benefit is in Shanghai, while the lowest is in Beijing. The level of low-carbon land use comprehensive benefit in Wuhan is in the middle. The ecological environment quality, energy efficiency and land optimal allocation are better than other central cities, and the level of economic development and social stability are in the middle and the lower level.(4) Based on the evaluation results of analysis, putting forward to the following suggestions:to strengthen the land’s policies, to improve the land incentive mechanism; to popularize the low carbon development concept and to establish the carbon trading market; to change the traditional mode of land use and reduce the city of extensive development. Taking the circular economy and sustainable development as the guidance, building ecological city to achieve the purpose of optimization of land use.
