In recent years, domestic and foreign commercial banks have accelerated the pace of product innovation and rhythm, through rich of financial innovation, and constantly open up new areas of business and profit model, although affected by the financial crisis temporarily delayed the bank innovation speed, but the birth of the inevitable trend of development of the times change, the fierce market competition and customer demand the decision, financial innovation will still be an important support for the future development of the banking. Product innovation the challenges faced by the banking sector have become increasingly prominent, urgently need to stimulate financial innovation of commercial banks in China, to more stringent financial regulation under conditions, more flexibility in meeting the financial needs of customers, to take advantage of product innovation in the homogenization of competition. In the case of relatively weak product innovation of commercial banks in China, through the establishment of scientific management system for product innovation, product innovation management plan and develop reasonable strategies and promote measures conducive to the product’s competitive advantage into full play, thereby expanding market share, increase the profit and efficiency, improve international competitiveness of commercial banks. This article based on the theory of bank product innovation, detailed analysis of the State-owned C commercial bank’s product innovation, product innovation and development direction for the line, and forms a basic management system framework and specific strategy recommendations.
