The Transformation And Upgrading Of Processing Trade In Zhejiang Province

The development of Zhejiang province’s Processing Trade is similar with othercountries. Since the reform and opening-up, Zhengjiang province has achievedgreat-leap-forward development, relying on its advantaged location, PreferentialPolicy Support as well as its competitive cost advantage. Now Processing Trade hasbeen one of the main kinds of Foreign Trade boosting Zhejiang’s economy.While the Processing Trade in Zhejiang province made vigorous development, italso exposed many development problems. The key is that its traditional pattern of thedevelopment of Processing Trade is no longer meets the nowadays’ need which leadsto the urgent need for transformation and upgrade. In addition, with the developmentof Zhengjiang’s economy, the support of both foreign and domestic policies, thechanges of the economic situation,the transformation and upgrade, ZhejiangProvince’s Processing Trade is faced with new opportunities and challenges.Therefore, in the next development, how to seize the opportunities and challenges ofthe smooth realization of the transformation and upgrading of Processing Trade is arealistic problem urgently to be solved.On the basis of existing researches, this paper gives the specific analysis onZhejiang’s Processing Trade’s transformation and upgrading. Firstly, it reviews theresearch achievements of predecessors, defines the meaning of the processing tradeand analyses the current situation of the development of the processing trade inZhejiang province in detail which summarizes and points out the difficulties in it.Then according to the domestic and foreign new development, it analyses thenecessity of the transformation and upgrading of Processing Trade from theinternational and domestic aspects. Finally, using the experience of other countries forreference, it analyses the influence factors of Zhejiang’s transformation and upgradingof processing trade from all the aspects and offers the countermeasures combined withthe specific condition of Zhejiang province.
