The current world oil and gas exploration and discovery scale becomes smaller, the exploration difficulty enlarges gradually, after the development of more than50years of oil and gas resources, reserve oil recoverable reserves are insufficient, the obvious contradiction between supply and demand, rising costs, increase the risk of exploration, most of oil fields have been rendered output cuts, especially the early development of the old oil field, surrounding economic development, oil reservoir concealment increased, prices continued to rise, the cost of human resources cost rise and so on, petroleum exploration and exploitation of the upward trend. Therefore, further tap potential in the old oil field exploration, the exploration efforts and improve recovery, reduce the cost of oil and gas found in petroleum industry, become the future development trend. The strategic position of the oil and gas resources and the continued growth in demand for oil and gas, the decision of the oil industry will farther toward the goal of development, how to lower costs to find more oil and gas resources, has become an urgent issue. However, as the oil and gas exploration of the first army, the oil exploration industry is faced with the problem of unit owners compression exploration investment, geophysical prospecting direct costs continue to rise, if continue to control cost follows the traditional cost management mode of project, no geophysical monomer project into separate management and distinguish activities detailed accounting, control point cannot be find the cost, it will be difficult to get further development in the increasingly fierce international market in geophysical prospecting.In this context, the oil geophysical prospecting enterprises must be based on the management characteristics of its own and the actual situation, continue to try to explore a variety of new management pattern in production and operation, absorb the advanced experience in project cost management in developed countries, geophysical exploration industry, improve the cost management mode of the enterprise survey project. However, because the cost of the project management ideas are not mature enough, did not form the project management system to reduce the cost, project management is not compared with Western Chico, BGP and other world famous geophysical companies, need to improve. Therefore, the research on this topic has very profound practical significance.This paper attempts to analyze the specific practices of Shengli Oilfield geophysical project cost management and existing defects, in operation cost management under the guidance of thinking, research method to solve the existing problems of cost management, to improve the level of project cost management, it not only provides the reference to the theory and practice of optimization of geophysical seismic acquisition project cost management system, is also beneficial to prospecting enterprises in the international market competition, optimize cost structure, reduce or to decrease the invalid cost occurs, for taking the geophysical enterprises in market competition in the low cost strategy plays a positive role.In conclusion, based on the deep research of project cost management theory and activity-based costing, starting from the geophysical industry management unit, fine operation management, explore the design project of Shengli Oilfield geophysical framework of activity-based costing management model based on the analysis of an example, and the method, implemented to cost management of exploration the company’s actual.
