Study Of The Performance Of Technological Input-output Based On High-tech Enterprise Of Jiangxi Province

Technology innovation is the strategic support to promote economicdevelopment. In recent years, more and more Jiangxi enterprises start to emphasizetechnology R&D, especially high-tech enterprises, and increasingly pay muchattention to the investment of science and technology, and they get manyachievements on production efficiency and creative product. But, for high-techenterprise of Jiangxi province, insufficient science and technology investment and lowoutput efficiency have become the bottleneck of restricting improvement of thescience and technology competitiveness level. Therefore, the paper will take Jiangxihigh-tech enterprises as an example to analyze situation of the science and technologyinput and output, especially the correlation of science and technology input-outputperformance.Based on analysis of the economic development theory, innovation theory andtheory of market performance into the importance of science and technology, thepaper use Jiangxi high-tech enterprises’ cross-section data of2009-2011, analyze thecurrent situation of scientific and technological activities of high-tech enterprises, andalso analyze the correlation ship between science and technology input andperformance by empirical research methods.The result of this paper suggested that there is a significant relationship betweenscience and technology input and enterprise performance, but the government’sfinancing seem to have less influence than the firm’s own capital. And it all can beseen from the result that business scale, industry concentration, private property rightsand financing capabilities have positive effect on the performance of technologicalinput-output. There is also a significant relationship between technological input andcreative product, but the contribution of science and technology funds is greater thanthe staff. Finally, based on the analysis, we raise several propositions to the developmentof Jiangxi high-techs enterprises: Consolidating the role of enterprises as main playersof independent innovation, optimizing the structure of science and technology input,strengthening intelligent team construction, expanding the scale of the growingdomestic enterprises, promoting the reform of the state-owned enterprise’s propertyrights, further increasing the financing support and so on.
