Labor remuneration is in the low proportion of national income that on the onehand,constrained consumer demand in China, reliance on investment and exportgrowth has exacerbated the structural contradictions of production and consumption;on the other hand, the income of workers is low which leads to labor conflictsincreasingly, labor conflicts are not conducive to the development of enterprises andthe whole development of the national economy. Wage is the main part of laborincome,the reform unreasonable wage system is the key of increasing the income ofworkers and easing labor conflicts and reducing the short-term behavior of workers.The system reflects the common will and cooperative intention of Participants inthe contract, system is the external performance of contract. The paper researches onwage system of china basing on contract perspective which is seen as studying wagesystem of china from the microscopic structure of the wage system, therefore, it isable to discover the problems inherent in the wage system. Therefore, the research onthe wage system in China settled in employment contracts between employers andemployees, contractual relations is the entry point for research the inadequate of thewage system and reform direction.The paper improves Williamson’s mortgage exchange contracts model to makeour own wage contract model, it illustrates the role of wage contract governancemechanisms and wage contract governance impact on wages. Based on the theoreticalresearch, we research on China’s wage system for historical comparative study,analysising of the contract wage system in various stages and wage characteristics.Meanwhile, the paper analysises the wage system of the U.S., Japan and Germany andcharacteristics of the wage contract, and does international comparison with China’swage system. By analysising results, we suggest that China’s enterprises needsinnovative governance model of contract and focuses on reliefing the system of wagecontract.According to deficiencies of China’s wage system, this paper expands ideas inaccordance with the three levels of analysis framework on the system, and putsforward ideas and suggestions about wage system from environmental management,contract management, and individual consciousness. This paper argues that, weshould pay attention to the principles of social justice, efficiency principles and synchronization principle as general principles, to establish a governance model ofmutually secured before signing a contract and a governance model which bothemployers and employees to participate in the governance model after signing acontract to improve the lack of wage contract.At the same time, we should continue to improve our system of financial revenueand expenditure, the household registration system and the "Company Law" toprovide a stable institutional environment for the wage contract governance modelinnovation; create a harmonious enterprise culture construction, focusing on wagecontract and wage system governance model impact on workers ideological.
