Along with the further development of the Mongolia-China relations, developinginvestments of Chinese enterprisers in Mongolian mineral resources has become animportant issue related to the common development in mining between two countries.Through using theoretical research and investment analysis, combining quantitative andqualitative analysis and PESTEL analysis model, this thesis analyzes Mongolianinvestment environment from political, economic, legal, social, cultural and technicalfactors. Then puts forward the corresponding suggestions to the facing problems for bothcountries mining cooperation.The content of this thesis divided into three parts. The first part is about partnership oftwo countries, the second part is about current situation of Mongolian mining field,Mongolian investment environment analysis and international and Chinese investmentsituation in Mongolian mineral resources. The third part provides some relevantsuggestion and policy in the further development for two countries mining cooperation.This section includes the strategies that should be adopted by the government of the twocountries. Mongolian government should propose appropriate policies with relevant sixfactors of the PESTEL analysis. From political point of view, Mongolia should work on itsforeign policy to provide more stable investment environment for foreign investors. Fromeconomic side, it needs to improve infrastructure, promote foreign investment. Fromsocial side, it needs to provide comprehensive learning opportunities for domestic laborforce; they are more adapted to the major trend of trade development. From technologicalside, it needs to attract foreign capital and technology investment, at the same time todispatch personnel to study abroad; government should increase technology on economicinvestment and develop technology. From environmental side, government shouldimplement charging policy to protect green land from been get destroyed, and enterprisesshould also pay back to society by establishing environment-protection fund. Chinesegovernment and enterprises should set up environment-related regulations and developself-consciousness that earth resources are common property and it is mandatory to protectthe nature for all the employees; from quality of labor force, China should pay attention tothe quality of labor training to ensure that the output of the labor force meet the work needs and to adapt them to the foreign environment; from regulatory point of view,Chinese government must formulate a unified enterprise management mechanism fordoing business activity in foreign countries, Chinese enterprises also should abide therules of the market; Overall Chinese government needs to encourage more state-ownedbig enterprises to invest Mongolia.
