With the rapid development of China’s economy and society, low-incomehousing problems aroused more and more attention. For the low-income housingdifficult problem, the government adopted a policy to address housing security, publicrental housing and low-rent housing policy is to protect the most major policy. Up tonow, these two policies in low-income housing to solve big problems, played a veryimportant role; However, as prices continue to rise, low-income housing dreamincreasingly difficult to achieve, housing security for them more and more important.In order to do low-income housing security, the protection needs of residents inneed of housing for low-income communities studied. This paper summarizes theresearch and basic dynamic domestic housing support for low-income communityresidents theoretical analysis, a case study in Kunming, housing affordability forlow-income residents of the community as well as their security needs on issues suchas the proportion of research.Studies have shown that: From the perspective of the ability to pay to seehousing residents in low-income communities to buy60square meters of housing,price earnings ratio is over10, the average level of housing affordability is about84.11%of Kunming average; Households rental income ratio was0.18, with anaverage of2,559yuan per month residual income, residual income proportion ofaverage monthly household income was60.7%; family income, age of householdhead, household size, educational level and household register their housingaffordability more significant impact, from the overall and sub-professionalbackground, some significant differences in factors; assuming revenue growth ratesand forecasts based on the estimated price earnings ratio has continued to rise andhousing affordability declining trend. From the point of view of housing security rate,under the assumption that the conditions of low-income households in the communityhave a33.33%need to rent low-cost housing, has42.33percent of the families needto rent public rental, the rest consider housing market.
