Valuation Of Nanwan Lake Scenic Ecosystem Services Based On Emergy Analysis

Nanwan Lake Scenic is one of China’s first batch of national waterconservancys.As one of China’s seven types national park,Water Conservancy Scenichas a good development momentum. Yet, Currently, the research about WaterConservancy Scenic is still stayed in the initial stage, which can not provide strongtheoretical support for the development of them. This paper attempts to via evaluateNanwan Lake’s ecosystem services, reveal its ecological, economic and socialbenefits,to find out some general laws. And then draw some appropriaterecommendations,So that, guide the scenic manager, the traveler and the governmenttry their best to realize the scenic’s healthy development.The traditional analysis method is only aim to the value which involved in themarket circulation, while ignoring the value of the free resources provided bynature.this will greatly reduce the scenic’s actual service function value. Taking thisfactor into account, this study introduced emergy analysis theory which founded byOdum, to calculation and analysis Nanwan Lake’s ecosystem services value from theperspective of ecological economics, and then draw some conclusions as thefollowing points:(1)Nanwan reservoir can meet its design requirements in the actual operation, andis in good condition;(2) It is of great importance to protect the Nanwan Lake’s natural environment inmaintaining species diversity;(3) Though Nanwan Lake’s ecosystem is in a stable state, its economicdevelopment is facing great pressure on the environment. so, in the future, itsdevelopment should mainly depend on expand economic and labor investment;(4)Water conservancy possesses engineering value, ecological value, social value,economic value as well as cultural value, its development and protection is worthy ofattention.Finally, make an explanation of this study’s inadequacies, and then look ahead thefuture research, as well as put forward some recommendations.
