Risk control is the core to the commercial bank. This thesis discusses the risk controlof supply chain finance closely related with commercial bank’s credit business in order toraise the reinforcement supporting measures of financing supply chain’s risk control.This thesis firstly introduces the characteristics of supply chain finance, and focuseson the basis of detailed analysis of supply chain financing on credit risk and operationalrisk. The core value of supply chain finance is to solve the financing difficulties of smalland medium enterprises (SMEs). So the commercial bank must not only face but alsocontrol the high credit risk caused by SMEs. With the real cargo flow, information flowand funds flow, accredited risks are separated from the credit of SMEs by Self-return,the major characteristic of trade finance. At the same time, there will be a lot of work afterloan, which may bring about the operational risk. Secondly, the thesis analyses thesituation of the risk control of supply chain finance in China. Then, the thesis discuses theprocedure of risk control, risk management techniques and institutional arrangement.Lastly, the thesis presents a case about the supply chain financing from the point of viewof the risk control of the commercial bank. It provides some effective strategies. Althoughthe commercial bank facts various risks, some risk of the supply chain financing can bekept away by establishing reasonable systems, taking the methods of risk aversion, riskdeflection, risk retention, risk compensation and loss control, and some risk can bereduced by improving internal control system, the quality of the staff, the product process,and reducing the dependence to the operators.
