On The Rural Cooperative Movenent During The Period Of The Nationalist Government Of Nanjing

The cooperative movement is a joint self-help form of Chinese workers to safeguardtheir own interests. Due to the special nature of China’s national conditions, the cooperativemovement gradually developed into cooperative movement with Chinese characteristics. Butin the development of the cooperative movement, there have been repeated process ofhistorical errors, while the rural cooperative movement implemented by the nationalgovernment embodies repeated errors in the entire history of Chinese cooperative movement.This paper reviews the cooperative movement undertaken by the national government fromthe perspective of economic and historical and then tries to explore the passive relationshipbetween government and cooperative so that it can help us draw its lessons to our presentrural modernization construction.Based on the literature of the rural cooperative of Nanjing national government at home,this paper firstly analyzes the movement of the national government cooperation theory basisand practice content. It points out that the national government to carry out the cooperativemovement is to open a political movement in a variety of motives. This paper concludes thatforced means of government throughout the cooperative movement by detailed descriptionand longitudinal analyzing the three stages of development of the national government for thecooperative movement. After this article through the three stages of development of thecooperative movement in the national government be informative introduction, and thenpreliminary to the national government for the rural cooperative movement conducted alongitudinal analysis. It considered mandatory means of government throughout thecooperative movement. Finally, this paper propose some suggestions, for example, masses organizedcooperatives and government assistance, while the government must stop the mandatory intervention. These all suggestions have implications for the existence of the samecontradictions of today’s cooperatives.
