As China’s financial system reform, interest rate marketization reform has entered the accelerating period, interest rate control is loose, independent pricing financial institutions gradually improve, the interest rate marketization of rural credit cooperative business development will bring the huge influence. At the same time, the domestic and foreign financial institutions more and more in the rural financial market, rural credit cooperatives will face more and more fierce market competition. In recent years, according to the relevant provisions of the loan interest rate policy requirements, rural credit cooperatives throughout combined with their own situation, actively explored the right loan interest rate pricing mechanism. But due to the restriction of system, mechanism, talent, technology, etc, the subjective and the arbitrariness of the loan pricing of rural credit cooperatives is still visible. To establish a scientific loan pricing mode has become an important issue to be solved in the development of rural credit cooperatives.The main research objective of this thesis is to analyze and compare the loan pricing mode at home and abroad systematically, study the rural credit cooperatives in Shandong Province as an example, analyze the primary problem of loan pricing of the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng at the time, explore the basic reason, and develop a theoretical research in order to improve the loan pricing mode of the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng. In base of the detailed analysis which is about the loan pricing situation and problem of the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng, and the theoretical foundation of customer segmentation, this thesis raises options of the loan pricing mode of the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng. The key findings according to the research is as follows:(1)The marketization of interest rate challenges the loan pricing mode of the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng. With the fast pace of the marketization of the interest rate and the fierce competition of rural financial market, the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng must change the current extensive loan pricing mode into a scientific and efficient one to control risks, increase revenues, consolidate and expand its market share.(2)The rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng should take its actual situation into account when choosing the loan pricing mode. As the main force of the rural financial market, the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng undertakes the mission of supporting the countryside, but the fact that the overall quality of its staff is not high enough, that the corporate of governance is not perfect, that the risk tolerance of its customers is not strong, that the eight Legal institutions have different trends of development and management decides that it must combine its actual instead of imitating commercial banks and other financial institutions.(3)The loan pricing mode with the theoretical foundition of customer segmentation is more available for the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng to develop. Owing to the diversification of customer groups and the fierce competition of the finantial market, the loan pricing mode in base of customer segmentation is better for the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng to centralize its resources, promote accordingly, obtain the most market share with the least resource costs. At the same time, the well-directed loan pricing mode based on customer segmentation can also do favor to improve the security、liquidity and profitability of the credit assets.The feature and innovation point of this thesis is as follows:(1)It explores the loan pricing mode of the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng. At the time, the domestic theoretical contribution is relatively rare, and most of them are about the analysis and measures to the problem of the loan pricing of the financial institutions in China, only a small number of them are about how to set up modes that comfort to the practice of rural financial institutions, especially to the local color. This thesis studies the loan pricing mode taking the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng, which is pioneering currently.(2)It raises the mode that is based on the theory of customer segmentation. In base of comparing the loan pricing mode at home and abroad, considering the fact of the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng, the thesis raises the options of the loan pricing mode with the theory foundition of customer segmentation, which has important influence for the rural credit cooperatives in Liaocheng to improve its loan pricing mechanisms, lift the level of management and expand its market share, and has reference value for other rural credit cooperatives.
