A Study Of The Participation Poverty Alleviation By Non-profit Organizations In Xintian County Of Hunan Province

With the constant development of society and economy, our country has come into the predicament that the traditional model of poverty-solution, running by the dual powers of government and market, has gradually become inefficient. The anti-poverty fight has become a tough obstacle spanning on our roads of the full construction of comparatively well-off society of China. Therefore, those Non-profit organizations as the third sector have gradually come to the stage of poverty-solution.This thesis taking Xintian county of Hunan province as study area, has performing researches and investigations in nonprofit organization taking part in local poverty alleviation, observing and learning its effect, characteristics and results; meanwhile, through the investigation of physical truth of Xintian, comparing the results and impacts made by different main bodies and their ways of poverty allevia tion, this thesis has discovered the present situation, problems and development trend of nonprofit organizations in poverty solutions in Xintian. Some of the problems are as follows:the feebleness of infrastructure, insufficient capability, and the limited scope of involvement. At last, according to the survey data, interview data, related articles as well as summaries and references of nonprofit organizations participating in poverty solution at home and abroad, has formulated and put forward ountermeasures and suggestions which are good for nonprofit organizations to participate in poverty alleviation in Xintian county, such as the policies supporting the involvement of nonprofit organization, improving the capacity and standards of their involvement, constructing the social atmosphere to encourage their atmosphere. All of them are about to further enrich and perfect China’s non-profit organizations to participate in the research of poverty solution.
