In recent times, the main competition between enterprises is the commercial model and it has become the top form of the business competition. In the market competition situation with fast expansion of economic hotel chain, how Changsha HZX Economic hotel can win the game in the competition? The most important and fundamental factor for this is the innovation of its commercial model.This article starts from the connotation of the economic hotel and its commercial model, based on the deep analysis of environment of HZX economic hotel, then, it redesign the commercial model. We got the basic conclusion as follow:the positioning of HZX economic hotel should be leisure and business style. It not only provides safe and comfortable accommodation and business supporting facility, but also serving with favorable price.The target market of the hotel should be the businessmen, community residents, travelers and the companies nearby. The hotel will optimize the service model with the methods of improving the comfort level, embellishing with green element, setting up personalized room for lovers, providing different service for different level of VIP customers, providing supporting service, and so on.The hotel currently profit model is relatively simple, income directly from the income of guests room and consuming goods. For the mid and long term, the hotel will optimize the profit model through the VIP rechargeable cards and the cooperation with the other related organizations. The hotel will optimize the marketing model by VIP system, consumption point system, customer loyalty plan, E-marketing etc.Due to the regionalism feature of HZX hotel is very obvious and the difficulty of replication is very high, so, HZX hotel will start to expand as a chain hotel from Changsha to the entire Hunan Province only after the commercial model of the hotel is matured. The condition of this commercial model’s implement of HZX hotel is that:First, the key resources, like the stable customer source, the convenient parking zone, good brand image and public praise, the experienced hotel manager, and so on. Second, the key capacities, for example, the customer serving ability, the innovating ability of operating, the resource integration ability.
