As time goes by, the sustainable development shows strong vitality gradually. Natural gas does and will play a more and more significant role in sustainable development, as well as the construction of friendly environment and resource-conserving society.Region Sichuan is rich in natural gas resources, and should take advantage to develop the industry, as a result, making contribution to the sustainable development. However, it needs marketing strategy to lead and coordinate the short-term, medium-term and long-term development of the natural gas industry.The article explores the marketing strategy of natural gas in Region Sichuan, which includes the current status of exploitation of natural gas, natural gas pipeline network, price and marketing promotion in Region Sichuan. These four factors are known as marketing4Ps. According to the analysis, the paper puts forward an adjustment of marketing strategy of natural gas in Region Sichuan, under the requirement of sustainable development. At the same time, some new focus of marketing strategy should also be considered.The new marketing strategy will enhance the market competitiveness of natural gas industry in Region Sichuan, response the possible development predicament or take chance to be stronger. The development road which meets the requirements of environmental protection will change corporate social image of oil and gas enterprise greatly, and highlight enterprise core competitiveness. It is the guidance of marketing strategy that leads the natural gas market in benign development and benign cycle path. As a final result, the contradiction between supply and demand of natural gas will be in balance in Region Sichuan, and even in the nation, to get a win-win situation in economic and political field.
