A Research On RMB Internationalization:Conditions, Mode And Path

As an emerging power in the international monetary system, RMB is playing an important role on international monetary functions. To provide guidance and reference on how to promote RMB Internationalization, some new tentative explorations on conditions, mode and path are carried out in this paper. The following four parts are included.At first, this paper lays the foundation for full text of the study through analyzing the status of RMB Internationalization. From the perspective of process and state clear the connotation of currency internationalization and international currency. International currency is the specific state of currency internationalization from low to high stage of development. This part summarizes the process of RMB internationalization from the point of freely convertible, cross-border trade, currency swaps and offshore markets and reserve function and evaluates the process of RMB internationalization from two aspects, so that clears the current stage of RMB internationalization.To promote RMB Internationalization better, this paper carries on deep analysis of RMB Internationalization’s conditions, mode and path.For conditions, this part analyzes the realistic foundation of the RMB Internationalization from the four aspects of economic, financial, political, and the external environment and discusses the weaknesses. Then puts forward the driving force of the improving conditions of RMB internationalization based on the principle of order parameter-the Core Enduing Creativity(CEC). How to improve competitive resources and internal ability determines whether CEC can become the core competitive advantage.For the mode, four modes of international currency are proposed-policy-based propulsion mode, the regional push mode, radical mode and balanced evolution mode. This paper thinks RMB Internationalization should choose the balanced evolution mode.For the path, this part summarizes the current main paths that RMB Internationalization can choose. By comparing and reference, position forward path is considered to be the best choice as the path of RMB Internationalization.
