In the era of knowledge economy,global competition is becoming increasingly fierce,and industrial environment is also changing rapidly.In such context,if the enterprise wants to seize the opportunity and address the challenges successfully,it must have the ability to innovate,continue to generate creative achievements and to grasp the core competitive advantage.Out of question,the innovation ability of the enterprise comes from the creativity of all the employees.Therefore,the current research related to employee creativity has theoretical and practical value.In recent years,the academic and business community' focus on enhancing the creativity of employees continues to heat up,and they are committed to explore ways to contribute to the development of creativity.However,by means of identifying the personality traits with which employees can produce more innovative ideas is the most direct and simple way to develop employee creativity.Still,few studies have attempted to investigate the influential mechanism and conditions of personality and employee creativity besides the perspective of psychological factors.Core self-evaluation as a broad and high-order personality trait,is the basic belief of the individual's value and ability.At the moment of employee creativity continueing to receive much attention,individual who can remain confident in their own opinion and not easily worry about in the face of uncertainty may be even more successful.To date,there is still a lack of systematic theoretical and empirical research on the relationship between core self-evaluation and employee creativity.The internal mechanism and the condition of the two are not very clear as well.Currently,in the process of daily management,enterprises mainly emphasize depending on improving the external environment,giving material incentives and other ways to stimulate the employees' creative motivation.But they often ignore the main internal mechanism of self-regulation.Feedback seeking behavior is a typical self-regulation strategy.Therefore,this study focuses on employee's self-regulation,discussing how core self-evaluation influences individual creativity through the mediating role of feedback seeking behavior.In addition,taking the past inconsistent results of the relationship between self-esteem and feedback seeking behavior and more and more concern about high core self-evaluation individual's self-assertiveness into account,this paper tries to unearth the condition that may have an impact on the strength of relationship between core self-evaluation and feedback seeking behavior.Therefore,this study suggests that only in the case of carrying out perspective taking,employees can put attention to the practicality of innovative ideas,thereby increasing employees' intention to seek feedback,and ultimately affect employee creativity.In view of this,based on foreign mature scales,we attempts to make the employees from Hubei,Anhui,Zhejiang and other areas as the research object,studying the influential mechanism of core self-evaluation and employee creativity by means of questionnaire survey.We totally give out 300 questionnaire and the number of effective copies that retrieved is 214 in the end.This paper uses statistical software,like SPSS and AMOS,to test the hypothesis through the methods of descriptive statistics,correlation analysis and regression analysis.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Core self-evaluation is positively related to employee creativity.(2)Feedback seeking behavior plays a partial mediating role between core self-evaluation and employee creativity.(3)Perspective taking moderates the relationship between core self-evaluation and feedback seeking behavior,and the mediation of feedback seeking behavior underlies the overall moderating effect of perspective taking on the relationship between core self-evaluation and employee creativity.Finally,according to the research findings,this paper puts forward some practical suggestions on how to improve employee creativity.First of all,enterprises should attach importance to the selection and reservation of high core self-evaluation staff.Secondly,enterprises should pay attention to staff's self-management mechanism.Furthermore,enterprises should also be committed to improve employee's tendency of perspective taking,encouraging employees to focus on other people's needs and understand their attitudes and ideas.
