Competition of modern enterprises is ultimately a senior talent competition, knowledge and skills to become the company’s core competitiveness. Senior Talent is the key knowledge and skills the holder of the core competitiveness of enterprises bearers, but also to create a core group of corporate value, it is a competitive advantage for enterprises to obtain a solid foundation.As an inland city located in the state-owned steel companies-X company, faced with the new situation, seize new opportunities, to enhance the core competitiveness challenge. Iron and steel industry is highly competitive, serious excess capacity, while the surging steel industry mergers and acquisitions, multi-family property can emerge into the million-ton large-scale iron and steel enterprises. Company X through technological innovation and acquisitions, but also entered the ranks of million-ton steel enterprises, the increasing diversification of product variety, product technology content has been improved, a substantial increase in value-added products, which are the X company’s senior personnel made more high demand. How to optimize the management of senior personnel of enterprises, nurturing and building an outstanding senior personnel, enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises to cope with the fierce market competition, state-owned enterprises reform and development issues facing the major theoretical and practical issues.In this paper, human resource performance appraisal, compensation and benefits, employee training, employee relations and other related theories starting with X senior talent management as the research object, through a questionnaire survey of senior talent, theoretical analysis and empirical research will be combined in the High talent connotation, characteristics and important role in the development of enterprises on the basis of the analysis, the X position of senior talent and senior talent management and problems of the main measures conducted a special study Finally the effective implementation of the optimization program recommendations aimed at improving the status of Company X senior talent management, to stimulate enthusiasm for the work top talent and creativity, so that Company X in the fierce market competition in a dominant position.
