In the context of China’s economic restructuring and structural adjustment, enterprises’specialization is getting higher and higher, and each enterprise whose skills and resources can not meet all the needs of their own development, so they should build the perfect inter-enterprise network. The importance of the relationship between the enterprises makes companies more and more attention to the relationship of relationship value.Pass through the relationship transfer, companies can access to the information, technology and other competitive advantages thatb needed for their development.This article combing the relevant literatures of the concept of the relationship, network of relationships, indirect relationship and tripartite motivation to explore tripartite motivation that based on the relationship transfer. By combing the literature this article relates relationship transmission classified in accordance with the guanxi, the mode between transfer and results. Then through using the literature analytical method of80articals in the excellent journsal at home and abrodad, this article separates out the tripartite motivation of the relationship transfer. Coding of motivation precipitated from the literature and the data of a survey conducted of180corporate executives, and then use the principal component analysis to analyze the date. Draw similarities and differences among the three types of enterprises of the theory samples and practical samples according to the the relationship passed and results ranking. By comparing the theoretical sample resource base and transaction costs two theories to explain the relationship passed motivation, practice sample to explain the theory of competitive advantage relationship passed motivation. Theoretical sample emphasized inter-enterprise transfers relationship about market relations, technical relations and competition relations, when the venture enterprises in the practical samples pay attention to financing relations, technical relations and government relations, and the technology development enterprises and the marking-oriented enterprises are focus on market relations, technical relations. In addition, the two types of samples all pay more attation to the relationship transmission motives of technical relations among enterprises.
