Enterprise Mro E-Procurement System Modeling And Simulation Through Petri-Net Theory

Procurement management is an important part of business operation management, in order to adapt to the fierce competition in the market, more and more enterprises began to focus on procurement management. With the rapid development of IT, many large industrial enterprises improve their procurement management level and efficiency through the E-procurement. However, the E-procurement is mainly used in the procurement of production materials, enterprises usually don’t pay attantion to non-productive materials procurement that costs so much human resources and material resources, non-productive materials procurement has great significance to the normal enterprises operation. The traditional procurement methods of non-productive materials are difficult to meet the needs of today’s fierce market competition, enterprises use information technology to improve the efficiency of procurement is an inevitable trend. At present, although a small number of studies mentioned the importance of the non-productive materials E-procurement, but only few of them answer the question systematically:how to implement the non-productive materials E-procurement. Most of them are also lack of examples and data to verify that whether the implementation of E-procurement for enterprises is effective.Overall,this paper base on the system theory and the just in time purchasing theory with chain management environment, analyze the problems in the G Corporation MRO traditional procurement process in detail, optimize the procurement process according to current problems and provide the solution and the implement steps for E-procurement. Combined with systems engineering methodology and business process reengineering theory to analyze the business process comprehensively, find out the incorrect or unnecessary parts, integrate all resources and involve the parallel process. With the Petri net workflow modeling method, build business process workflow model, analyze the built model qualitatively based on Petri net concept and verify if it’s reasonable. Finally, select the average cycle time for process effectiveness and efficiency evaluation, then use ExSpect software to do Petri net workflow model simulation, analysis, optimization and re-analysis. Conclusion:build the MRO procurement of electronic process by Petri net workflow modeling method is reasonable, the implementation of E-procurement can greatly enhance their MRO procurement efficiently. Finally, we supply the shortcomings during research and propose direction for further research.
