Study On The Development Of China’s Bearing Industry And Foreign Trade

Since the founding of new China, China’s bearing industry has been developedrapidly. Bearing production and exports have jumped to the forefront of the world, butcompared with the world bearing industrial power, there is still a wide gap. Chinabearing industry global market share is still very small, product technology content isnot high, low value-added, high quality bearing is still dependent on imports. Andexport products are mostly in low to mid-range deep groove ball bearings withordinary accuracy and low added value. The high precision bearings are exported verylittle and only for some after market rather than OEM market. The bearing is small,but in the machinery industry it plays a key role which can not be ignored. The qualitylevel of high-end bearings and its export volume can reflect the national bearingindustry level and its status in the international bearing industry, but also can reflect acountry’s level of manufacturing industry, and even the entire national economicdevelopment level of the country.This paper studies the development of foreign and Chinese bearing industry andChinese bearing import and export trade, through consulting large amount of literature,analyzes the present situation and development of China’ bearing tradecompetitiveness, through the analysis and comparison of price difference and changetrend in many years between import and export bearing from China, discusses thestructural problems existing in Chinese bearing production and export and thepotential crisis, finally to solve related problems and promote China bearing industryand foreign trade healthy development， put forward opinions and suggestions.
