E-bankinging business originated in1970s and has gained rapid development in the last30years. Because of its feature of convenience, ease-usage and low cost, it is increasingly becoming the core competence of commercial banks. Over the past10years, domestic banks are giving more and more emphasis on the research of e-bankinging business.In this paper, we explain the characteristics of electronic banking, its advantages, and the importance of it to domestic banking sector empirical analysis. We also analyze various types of e-bankinging security risks and their controls mechanisms. The paper gives the directions and implementation strategies for the development of electronic banking in China.Paper includes four parts.The first part introduces e-bankinging business:its definition, form, function and characteristics that are different from traditional banking business.The second part discusses the status quo of domestic and oversea e-bankinging business development. Through specific quantitative data, it analyzes electronic banking services and shows the impact on commercial banks.The third part gives the objective, strategies, and path to the achievement of e-bankinging business in China from the perspective of safety, service, marketing, product, etc. It also pointed out the risks and their responses.Part IV of this paper gives the guideline to e-bankinging business development in China. Most similar papers base their researches case on the theoretical analysis of e-bankinging development with case studies from the foreign banks. This paper integrates theory and practice, analyzes the e-bankinging business using empirical analytical methods via comprehensive and authoritative statistics datum and case from a representative home bank, which makes this paper a stronger and more realistic guide to domestic bank sector with targeted significance.
