The Case Analysis Of Evergrowing Bank Loans To HY Holding Group

The development of the banking industry has experienced a long process. Along with the continuous development of the economy, a variety of financial needs appears. These needs have driven the diversification of the banking business at the same time. But, traditional deposit and lending business has always been the basis for the development of the bank, all the emerging business extends from them. As an important part of the assets business, management of loan business can never be ignored. After China’s accession to the WTO, China’s commercial banks, especially the small and medium-sized joint-stock commercial banks, face greater challenges. It becomes more important to improve their own competitiveness by loan business.In this paper, I used the method of case analysis. At first, I pick up the loan case of HY Holding Group. And then,I built the entire process of this loan business according to the Evergrowing Bank’s consistent analysis methods and operational processes, based on my summer internship experience in Evergrowing Bank and related knowledge of loan management. Though this process, I found that there were some inadequates in loan risk assessment, loan pricing, business development and the standard of choosing borrower. At last, I put forward appropriate recommendations to solve these problems. The study not only helps improve profitability of the Evergrowing Bank, but also do good for many other small and medium-sized joint-stock commercial banks.This paper has two main innovations.Firstly,making the Evergrowing Bank as the main study object can give large numbers of small and medium-sized joint-stock commercial banks in our country a big revelation and significance. Secondly, the method of case analysis makes the study more reliable and authentic.
