Applied Research On The Environmental Cost Of Thermal Power Enterprise

The thermal power is one of the most important energy. However the thermal power plants are bringing a large of pollutions to environment. With more and more serious environmental pollution problems and people’s more attention to environmental protection, the environmental cost becomes more and more important. Making the environmental cost into the total cost of thermal power, can directly improve the ability of surviving and competitiveness of the thermal power enterprises in the market, but also can effectively control the increasingly serious environmental pollution problems. Therefore, it is necessary and imperative to research and to setup a model to assess the environmental cost for the thermal power enterprises.This study went through thoughts of situation analysis, opinion expressing, model building, example applying, recommendation providing. It has been completed rely on referencing existing research results and using a combined method of model research, empirical research, qualitative research and quantitative research.This paper has completed the followings works:(1)Describes the pollutants’ species, environmental technology and environmental economic policies of impacting the thermal power enterprises.(2)Combines the existing research results and the theoretical basis,put forward a research method by building model of environmental loss cost and environmental prevention cost.(3)Takes a XX-thermal power plant as an example to research the environmental cost, then calculate and analyze the related data detailly.(4) Provides my suggestions and recommendations focusing on three basic areas:improving environmental cost management, completing national policies and systems, and searching new energy sources and restructuring industrial infrastructure.The purpose of this study is to provide references for the environmental cost accounting of thermal power enterprises and management.
