| In21st century, with acceleration of world globalization and rapid development of scientific technology, the economical transactions between countries or enterprises are becoming more and more further and closer, making cross-cultural communication to play an increasingly prominent role in international business activities today. Different culture and values are in unceasing interaction in daily business activities; affecting the management of enterprises, especially for the global multinational companies, they are facing the increasingly serious cross cultural problems caused by different countries culture background, different values, different consumption habits, etc. With rapid rise of the quantity of the foreign international companies and domestic enterprises with international business, intercultural management has become one of the important factors to affect the success of international business.Based on the theory of American management psychologist Greert· Hofstede’s five-dimension cultural mode analysis, and the Canadian famous cultural analyst Nancy J. Adler’s intercultural management mode, this paper takes the culture conflicts and intercultural management of Bosch Changsha company as the study object, basing on the analysis of company Associate Survey in past few years, compares the culture differences of Germany and China, summarizes the intercultural management strategy of Bosch Changsha company in different development stadges, concludes three main types of cultural conflicts as communication, cultural difference and working-method difference, digs out the route cause for the culture conflicts, and finally provides a systematical scheme to solve the intercultural management problems from three aspects including mind set change, capability improvement and process optimization, and makes corresponding risk analysis and detail action plans to insure the succuessfull implementation.The good experience to solve the intercultural problems of Bosch Changsha company is helpful to give solutions for other similar foreign international companies, and also can provide good suggestions and tips for the Chinese international company with oversea business. |
