People need to be respected. Love relationship, friendship and mutually beneficial relationships need basic courtesy and mutual respect. In the workplace, people want to work in an environment of mutual respect. The rude behavior will lead to unhappiness of the employees, tense relationship among colleagues and unpleasant working environment. Organization leaders may be more concerned about the violence in the workplace than other uncivilized phenomenon which won’t immediately cause serious problems. But studies have revealed the negative effect of workplace incivility on organizational performance. So the research of workplace incivility will enable us to know more about the properties of incivility in the workplace and guide the practical work. This paper chooses work engagement as the outcome variable, affective commitment as the mediator variable, and organization support as the moderator variable. Based on the data acquired through a survey, the internal mechanism of the relationship between workplace incivility and work engagement has been supported. Conclusions from this empirical research are:(1) Workplace incivility has a direct negative influence on work engagement.(2) Workplace incivility has significant negative effect on affective commitment. Meanwhile, affective commitment has fully mediated the relationship between workplace incivility and work engagement.(3) Organization support has significantly moderated the relationship between workplace incivility and work engagement. This means that compared with a high organization support, the relationship between workplace incivility and work engagement are much stronger to the ones who own low organization support.
