With the rapid development of knowledge-based society, as well as the growing competition between enterprises, more and more enterprise managers recognize employee engagement as the key to improve enterprise core competitiveness, measure and evaluation index system of employee engagement is a key element of the scale. Although the scholars at home and abroad in the early1990s done related research of engagement, but what they have studied is the correlation between employee engagement and single variable (psychological capital, organizational commitment and employee work values, fair compensation, etc.); and as to evaluation scale, at present, the most widely applied in various fields and the highest recognition employee engagement evaluation questionnaire are Gallup Q12measurement scale, investment scale and MBI scale UWES work, this all provides very important reference value in the process of the establishment of the evaluation index system of employee engagement.This paper first analyzes the domestic and foreign research status related to employee engagement, and reviews related concepts including employee engagement, the dimension and measurement of engagement, the theory related to employee engagement (position theory, self-determination theory and social exchange theory, etc.), so this paper builds up evaluation index system of employee engagement on the basis of it. Then, this paper regarded the staff of CM enterprise as investigation object to do empirical study, and designed the questionnaire and distribute. Descriptive statistical analysis was carried out on the recovery of questionnaire, through the correlation analysis this paper eliminated irrelevant indexes, and by the factor analysis to reduce the rest of the32three-level indicators derived to eight secondary indicators, finally established three level indicators. Then, according to the index weight calculation formula this paper calculated the weights of every index and the CM enterprise employee engagement score, and based on the evaluation results overall analysis and variance analysis were carried on. Finally, according to the result analysis, enterprises improve employee engagement countermeasure is put forward, including increasing the employee’s job involvement, increasing the employee’s organizational commitment and employees’ emotional sense of belonging, at the same time.we puts forward the deficiency and the subsequent work needed to be improved of this paper.
