Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of China’s financial market, Financialdisintermediation appeared more and more frequently in the operation of financialmarkets. After2006,China’s resident deposits growth rate andthe absolute amount are in decline, non-bank financial institutions are in the rapiddevelopment,and after2013, the policy interest rate market is rapidly advancing.So inthe next ten to twenty years,financial disintermediation will be the biggest challengefor Chinese commercial banks,and the impact of the change worths us to make deepresearch.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter analyzes the significance of the topic and the researchbackground. It review of relevant research scholars of financial disintermediation andpointed out that the innovation and difficulty of the article.The second chapter introduces the concepts of financial disintermediation andshow the background and history of financial disintermediation in United States,Japan, India. Firstly the chapter select representative idea of financialdisintermediation to explain it.Secondly the chapter selected United States and Japanas the research object to research the process of financial disintermediation of thedevelopment country, and selected India as the research object to research the processof financial disintermediation of the developing country.At the last, the chaptersummarizes the impact of financial disintermediation of the banking sector.The third chapter introduces the background of financial disintermediation inChina, and analysis of its causes form both internal and external.Additionally,cause the current situation of Chinese bank occupy the main market is changing, so in thischapter it describe the current situation of financial disintermediation from not onlythe source of funds but the use of the funds,and on the basis to analysis theparticularity of Chinese financial disintermediation.The fourth chapter analyzes the challenges and opportunities bring by financialdisintermediation to the commercial banks and non-bank financial institutions. Inaddition the chapter use the data from2002-2013to analyze the influence onoff-balance sheet business and balance sheet business of banks. To asset business andliability business,the its impact more harm than good, financial disintermediationmake tremendous pressure on commercial banks.To off-balance sheet business andnon-bank financial institutions its impact more good than harm.Specifically, financialdisintermediation promote the development of China’s securities industry, the trustindustry and the insurance industry,as a whole financial disintermediation promotethe development of innovative financial products and diversified business.The fifth chapter mainly talk about the measures of China’s commercial bankswhen they face the financial disintermediation. Such as how to promote integratedoperation of China’s commercial banks.Finally, in the background of interest ratemarket to accelerate, combined with the interest rate market conditions and financialdisintermediation, proposed such as the development of customer-orienteddevelopment strategies more targeted recommendations.
