Based on the domestic and international research results of project cost management, using the method of strategic cost management in the30TEU shipbuilding project, the cost management system of30TEU shipbuilding project is established, the system guided the operation of the project, and achieved a economic and social benefits. The main research contents and results are as follows:1.By analysis of the current cost management of Shanghai Pudong shipyard, we find out the main problems in cost management.2.Using strategic cost management method to systemly analysis of cost management of Shanghai Pudong shipyard.3.The cost management strategy of Shanghai Pudong shipyard is decided by using the strategic positioning analysis method, by the analysis of the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, difficulties, the development strategy should be taken. The cost leading strategy should be taken in the former shipbuilding stage, the difference strategy should be taken when container ship construction reaches a certain scale.4.Using the strategic value chain analysis method, the value chain of Shanghai Pudong shipyard is analyzed from three aspects such as the enterprise internal value chain, industry value chain, the competitor value chain. Through the integration of the value chain, the establishment of strategic alliance, we can reduce the cost and obtain the competitive advantage.5.Using strategic cost driver analysis method in the analyzing of cost drivers of Shanghai Pudong shipyard. We find the reason of the cost by the analysis from two aspects of structural cost and executive cost, by the management of the motivation, we reduced shipbuilding cost.6.Finally, improvement suggests are put forward, and the key factors of cost management are controlled, the operation of the project is successed.
