In recent years, Chinese beverage industry developed rapidly,becoming a hotspot in Chinese consumer products, its sales revenue and profits are increasing year by year. People’s living standards improve,the beverage demand is also increasing year by year, and higher requirements on the quality of the beverage.According to statistics,2003-2010years Chinese beverage manufacturing industry in total industrial output value has maintained a rapid growth trend, with an average annual growth rate of25.52%.During the development of Chinese beverage industry, how to measure the beverage manufacturing industry overall and sub industry leve of total factor productivity, And how to be analyzed from technological progress,technological efficiency,pure technological efficiency and scale efficiency point of view;How to rationally evaluate the beverage manufacturing industry and its sub industry production efficiency,and what are the factors which influence the productivity growth;what is concentration level of Chinese beverage manufacturing industry segment?How the trend? Subdivision industry whether there is convergence, these are the problems to be solved in this article.The study puts beverage manufacturing industry in13four-digit industries as the object,based on panel data from2003to2010between China’s beverage industry, Application of nonparametric data envelopment analysis DEA Malmquist productivity index method,three stage DEA method,the measurement of industrial agglomeration method to study the efficiency change and characteristics of Chinese beverage manufacturing industry,and further study of spatial agglomeration Chinese beverage industry status and productivity convergence. Through empirical analysis the following conclusions:The average growth rate of TFP of Chinese beverage manufacturing industry was1.5%between2003and2010, and is mainly due to technological progress, the contribution rate of1%,technological efficiency have certain contribution, accounting for0.6%, among of the scale efficiency and pure technological efficiency average growth rates were0.4%and0.2%.Average TFP growth rate of China’s beverage manufacturing industry segments vast majority is positive, significant differences between the industry and sub-industry rate of technological progress and changes in total factor productivity index changes maintain a high synchronization, drawn Technological progress is the main driver of TFP growth. After removing environmental factors and random factors, a lot of changes in production efficiency beverage manufacturing various industry segments occurred.Currently, the production efficiency is affected by beverage manufacturing finished goods inventory, cost of capital and labor costs. With0.9efficiency values for the critical point, The13sub-sectors in beverage manufacturing industry can be divided into four types which are high-high, high-low, low-high and low-low industries according to the scale efficiency and pure technical efficiency.During the inspection, the spatial extent of agglomeration beverage manufacturing sub-sectors of the vast majority of the decline, showing a dispersion phenomena, the spatial distribution of the entire beverage industry in the same exhibit obvious dispersed phenomenon, and its spatial agglomeration of economic development and regional levels are highly correlated.Most beverage manufacturing industry segments does not have σ convergence,in addition to the individual industry, other industries exist β absolute convergence and β conditional convergence, regional productivity in narrowing the gap, and tends to be stable at the same level.At the same time,taking corresponding measures such as technology innovation,to realize the coordinated development of Chinese beverage manufacturing industry productivity and regional economic.
