Relationship Between Japan 's FDI And Trade In The Japanese Industry

In the past30years, China has become developing into the biggest exporter of theworld trade, an important raw material, intermediate products and importing country withother commodities from an insignificant role, but also a major export and input countryof foreign direct investment from an insignificant role in international trade. Japan is thefourth largest China’s trading partner, both in import and export trade, or foreign directinvestment has continued to grow steadily. Economic and trade relations between the twocountries is ever closer, which is significant for the entire Asia-Pacific region and worldeconomy.The proportion of intra-industry trade in the trade between the two countries isincreasing, becoming more and more important. Therefore, analysis and the study of thedevelopment and association factors of Sino-Japanese manufactured goods industrytrade, especially the connection with Japanese direct investment in China’smanufacturing industry has a very important guide and reference on the furtherdevelopment and expansion of Sino-Japanese trade.This thesis starts from the Sino-Japanese industry and trade especially makes adepth analysis of the current development of trade in manufactured goods. Meanwhilethe Sino-Japanese trade in manufactures industrial development level and intra-industrytrade patterns is quantitatively measured by GL index and GHM exponential distribution.Recalling Japan’s direct investment in the development process, industry distribution,regional selection and so on, overviews the investment motives and trends of Japan’sdirect investment in China. Furthermore, we inspect the relationship between themthrough theoretical and empirical, and then analyze the empirical results. Finally, we putforward some corresponding policy recommendations.
