Although commercial banks have the advantage of a large number ofbranches, due to the impact and operation of the existing economicsystem, Commercial banks are not for this kind of scale advantage intocompetitive advantage. Therefore, to further explore the rationaldistribution of commercial bank branches will be the key to improvingthe operating efficiency of domestic commercial banks. This article isbased in Gansu Province and mainly research branches of commercialbanks in the layout, so from the whole, this paper uses fuzzy evaluationof the total provincial branches to analyses whether compliance with therequirements of economic development.The full text elaborates Gansu commercial bank branches layoutproblems from four aspects of the cortical basis, Situation Analysis,Aggregate Analysis and Measures recommended. Firstly, the articleelaborates the theory of the layout of commercial bank branches at homeand abroad and presents the principles and framework for the layout ofcommercial bank branches should follow. Secondly, we analyzed theregional distribution of commercial bank branches in the region, thenumber of branches, the number of personnel and amount of bank assets,which shows that commercial bank branches have the deficiency in thebank channel construction and lack of total control branch layout andother issues. Again, analyzing the rationality of the layout of commercial bank branches, which gets that the number of commercial bank branchesover the region is Jiayuguan, Jinchang, Linxia, Gannan, Zhangye, Dingxi,Longnan. Insufficient number of areas is Lanzhou, Jiuquan and Qingyang.The number of branches to reach equilibrium region is Baiyin, Tianshui,Wuwei and Pingliang. Finally, recommendations are given for theexisting problems.
