The Research Of The Influence Of Decision Frame And Reference Point On The Fairness Judgment

The paper discussed the effect of reference point and decision frame on the fairness judgment from the perspective of reference dependence.Study1include of two experiments to investigate the influence of reference point on fairness judgment, experiment1found that individual in the scenario whether the presence of reference point or not, the score of fairness judgment have margin significant differences, namely that reference point provides a comparable object and lower the individual perception of fairness. The experiment2examines individual perception to the fairness judgment in the case of a single reference point. The results show that the individual actually obtain the higher wages finally, the stronger of the degree of fair they perceived.Study2explored the influence of single or double reference point and gain or loss framework on the fairness judgment. The results showed that:compared with the single reference point, individuals perceive stronger unfair in the double reference point scenario; The participants fairness judgment scores in lose framework were significantly lower than in gain framework, that is, the participants perceived stronger unfair in loss framework. In addition, we also found that the gain or loss framework and single or double reference point have interaction effect on the fair judgment, in the gain framework, the fairness judgment scores of the participants under the single and double reference point scenario have significant differences, but no significant differences in the loss framework; the fairness judgment scores under the gain and lose framework have significant differences both in single and double reference point scenarios, and the difference of the single reference point scenario is bigger than double reference point scenario.Study3mainly investigate the effect of process justice, gain or loss framework, means of expression and their interaction on fair judgment use2x2x2completely random experiment design. The result showed that:the process justice have an significant main effect, the judgment stores in unfair scenario are lower than fair scenario, namely process fair influence the evaluation of final fair, the gain or loss framework also have the main significant effect, that is,the individuals perceive stronger unfair in loss framework, in addition, the gain or loss framework and process justice have significantly interaction effect, the fairness judgment scores have significant difference in process justice and injustice under loss framework, no significant difference under the gain framework. From the above result, the framework can be used as reference point and have the steady effect on fairness judgment. These results can help us understand how ourselves and others judge the fairness, and help us make better management decisions and life decisions.
