Research On Intra-Industry Trade Of The Mechnical And Electrical Products Between China And ASEAN

China-ASEAN Free Trade Area was founded in2010, this factor made the trade relationship stronger. In recent years, the trade value between China and ASEAN was still continually increased; especially the mechanical and electrical products trade volume. From2008, the mechanical and electrical products intra-industry trade index between China and ASEAN remained above0.8, and this index increase to0.87in2012. So there is a significant inter-industry trade characteristic in the mechanical and electrical products trade. However, there are some problems in the mechanical and electrical products trade between China and ASEAN, for example, trade imbalance, the poor quality of products of intra-industry trade, mechanical and electrical manufacturing industry less competitive, etc. According to the economic theory and intra-industry trade correlation theory, I analyzed the influence factors from the country characteristics and the industry characteristics.
