Correlation Analysis Of Listed State-owned Power Company Financing Structure And Corporate Performance

Power industry occupies an important position in the national economy. The key to improve the development of economy is that we should make the construction of electric power industry develop at a high-level. Therefore, how to improve the financial capability of electric power industry, optimize the financial structure, reduce the capital cost and operating risk is very essential for company to preserve high-level of performance and the efficient of corporate governance. Researching the correlation between electric power industry financial structure and enterprise performance is not only significant to optimize company financial structure, but also essential to reinforce enterprise management.According to the financial data of state holding listed-companies in electric power industry between2010to2012, I set up the simple liner regression models and the multivariate models by using the methods of comparative analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis and least square method. By the models, I analyzes the correlation between electric power industry financial structure and enterprise performance. As a result, I consider that the financial structure is negatively related to company performance, the company scale is positively related to sustainable development capacity. As a consequence, I provide some suggestions to optimize company financial structure and improve the efficiency of corporate governance.
