Network relationships among cities not only affect the growth of the cities, but also become important for regional development. With the advancement of technology, the development of the transportation, especially the air transport, Urban system gradually changes from the simple hierarchy structure to the network structure. The air transport has an significance status in the formation process of city network structure, so measurement and analysis of city airline network which formation of various cities connection with air flow, not only can help us to interpret the movements in urban system characteristics better, but also have practical significance to promote urban system healthy and coordinated development better. This article first measure the feature of the city airline network by the network analysis weighted with air traffic, and then analysis the global feature and individual character of city aviation network. Afterward, in order to find the reasons behind the trend changes of the city aviation network characteristics, this article combines quantitative and qualitative analysis the influencing factors of characteristics of urban aviation network, the main research includes the following sections:Introduced in the chapter one is the research background, practical significance and theoretical significance of this article, and Review the related literature, gives the innovation and research difficulties of this paper, and generally describes the ideas and the framework of this study. The second part describes the theoretical foundation of measurement of the characteristics of urban air network and the specific measurement indicators used, the theoretical foundation part including the rise and evolution of the city network, graph theory, complex network theory, social network theory, weighted network analysis, measure indicators divided into the overall characteristics indicators and individual characteristics indicators. The third part is measurement and trend analysis of the urban air network, first introduced the study, data sources and software implementation, and then measure the global feature of the network and analysis its trend, measure the individual characteristics of the network and analyze its changes. The forth part is analysis the influencing factors of the airline network from qualitative and quantitative two aspects, theoretical explanation of the influencing factors of the city aviation network was given, and then select representative indicators of the influencing factors combine with individual characteristics of the network to correlation analysis and quantitative Analysis, conclusion the difference impact of influencing factors on the individual characteristics of the network. The fifth part is a summary of the conclusions of this study, get four main conclusions and put forward relevant recommendations of the city healthy and coordinated development, and then illustrate the shortage of this research and outlook. From the five part research, this article concluded that the number of nodes in city aviation network is gradually increasing, complexity is enhancing and structure change is slowing down. The topology network shows less obvious feature of small-world network. The distribution of node degree shows the ’L’ shape, and the weighted network presents two-stage power-law distribution. Weighted degree centrality, closenesss centrality and betweenness centrality of cities keep stable with a little fluctuation. The gap between cities’characteristics indicates the reducing trend. The industrial structure and size of city has significant influence on its nodal character of city network, while the influence of economic development is smaller, in addition, the location of city has difference impact on the individual characters of network.
