Research On The Influence Of Enterprise Internationalization To Proactive Environmental Strategy

With economic globalization and the increasingly prominent environmental issues, more and more enterprises begin to implement proactive environmental strategies. In fact, many international enterprises tend to develop more stringent environmental strategies. Few studies have examined the existing inherent relationship between internationalization and proactive environment strategy, and this research takes international degree, international speed and international scope as independent variables, and use environmental internationaldiversity and stakeholder value as moderators. The research aims to answer questions:How international degree, international speed and international scope influence proactive environmental strategy and whether those influencs will be different or not in different situations of environmental international diversity or stakeholder value?To answer these questions, firstly this paper summaried the existed research on positive environmental strategy, enterprise internationalization and stakeholder theory and came up with the theoretical framework and hypothesis. Then the author analyzed206questionnaires and reached the following conclusions:1, The dgree and speed of internationalization has a significant positive impact on proactive environmental strategy, and internationalization scope stand no significant effect on proactive strategy;2, In high level of environmental international diversity.the dgree and scope of internationalization has a significant positive impact on proactive environmental strategy, and internationalization speed stand no significant effect on proactive;3, In high level of stakehold value, the dgree, speed and scope of internationalization has a significant positive impact on proactive environmental strategy. Finally, the author verified the idea through a case study.This paper expands and fufils the research of the strategic drivers, and introduces environmental international diversity and stakeholders value as situational variables, building up the relationship between internationalization and proactive environmental strategy. In practice, the result encourages Encourage enterprises to carry out international trade and then develop proactive environmental strategy. Meanwhile, Enterprises should attach great importance to international environmental diversity and the demands of stakeholders. In conclusion, the results provide decision support and policy Suggestions for the enterprise. Finally, the research has also discussed some deficiency and given future research direction.
