An Empirical Study Of Listed Companies Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Innovation Capability And Organizational Performance

Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is weightily referred to national health,social stability and economic development, and the fastest growing, most Fiercecompetition in the world. With the accelerated process of economic opening, how toeffectively improve innovation ability of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, tomaintain the sustainable development and improve performance of the enterprise,which is undoubtedly problems that the enterprise need to concerned. Researching theinnovation ability relationship with performance, not only guiding for development ofenterprises, but acting on formulating policies from government as a reference.In this paper, I apply a combination of theoretical and empirical analysis method,firstly, under literature of innovation ability and performance from domestic andforeign，and the relevant theory of innovation capability, defining the elements ofpharmaceutical manufacturing enterprise innovation ability and innovation ability ofthe enterprise, elaborating Relations within the four elements and the relationshipperformance with the four elements, which making up medicine manufacturingenterprise innovation ability.Secondly, basing on situation and characteristics of thepharmaceutical manufacturing industry,selecting sample of36pharmaceuticalmanufacturing companies from Shanghai Securities Exchange, building evaluationindex system of the pharmaceutical manufacturing innovation ability and by usingfactor analysis,deriving pharmaceutical innovation capacity overall level is low,ofmanufacturing enterprises innovation capability gap between large enterprises, weshould strengthen innovation capability. Thirdly, proposing hypotheses and buildregression models, deriving innovation capability of pharmaceutical industrycompanies was positively correlated with corporate performance, the four elements ofinnovative abilities have a positive impact on business performance. While reflectingthe10indicators of innovation capability has four indicators (technical staff input rate,labor productivity, the proportion of state-owned shares, the sales staff input rate)negative relationship with corporate performance relationship, indicating that thepharmaceutical industry should put more emphasis on these four aspects.Finally, based on conclusion of theoretical and empirical research, to targetedrecommendations for enhancing the innovation capacity of the pharmaceuticalmanufacturing enterprise.
