Issues Of Cooperation In The Field Of Coal Trade Research Between China And Mongolia

In recent years, the rapid economic development in China and Mongolia strengthen the trade cooperation between China and Mongolia further. The demand for energy resources of China has a substantial increase due to its rapid economic develop in recent years. Since China is adjacent to Mongolia, there is geopolitically complementary strength in their cooperation in the sector of coal resources, which has become one of the most important part in their economic cooperation and has promising prospect.Based on the literature and field study, the paper makes introduction to and analysis on the statues and exploitation of mineral resources in Mongolia. Taking the biggest Tavan Tolgoi coal mine under exploitation in Mongolia as example, the paper comes to the conclusion that in the field of trade cooperation between China and Mongolia exists the urgency of inevitability, mutual advantage and cooperation extending in the future. Although the relation of trade cooperation between China and Mongolia has been improved, the problems in coal trade cooperation between China and Mongolia seriously hamper the development. The paper makes research and probe on the problems in the cooperation between China and Mongolia. The paper makes prediction on the trend in Mongolia coal industry and proposes count ermeasures for better cooperation to the both sides.
