With the arrival of a globalization and We-media era, inter-regional competition is continuously intensified and the promotion of a regional brand image has become a new research angle of regional brand communication of a society of spectacle. In order to give prominence to regional advantages in the increasingly competitive environment and enhance regional reputation, popularity, reliability and adhesion degree and through discussion of relevant problems such as regional brands, regional branding and visual communication, the paper attempts to put forward a RIS system which is suitable for regional brand visual communication, including seven subsystems of MIS (Mind Identity System), BIS (Behavior Identity System), VIS (Visual Identity System), AIS (Audio Identity System), SIS (Smell Identity System), TIS (Touch Identity System) and EIS (Environment Identity System).Through environmental analysis of visual communication of regional brands in Guangzhou and strategic selection&locating analysis of regional brand visual communication in Guangzhou and according to current situations of visual communication in Guangzhou, the paper applies the RIS system into an actual region—Guangzhou at last, proposes a specific theoretical scheme suitable for regional brand visual communication in Guangzhou in combination with information visualization research and finally presents it with a visualized manner at last.
