With the development of computer technology and various computing simulation software, now the technique of system simulation becomes more and more mature, and then is applied into all kinds of supply chain cost management. With focusing on the distribution supply chain simulation, this thesis presents results in two aspects: supply chain simulation modeling and simulation result analysis. In this thesis, writer also used Activity Based Cost analysis approach to collect supply chain cost, and used Orthogonal Experimental Design method to analyze simulation result.Firstly, the thesis introduces current study of supply chain simulation, the basic concepts of simulation, the basic concepts of Activity Based Cost, supply chain simulation modeling method, supply chain simulation system, the application of supply chain simulation, the application of Activity Based Cost in supply chain cost management, and introduction the use of Promodel simulation software. Then, according to the writer’s daily operation real practice requirement, after wide historic data collection and data statistic distribution analysis, the thesis finishes modeling simulation and simulation experiment by using of Promodel simulation software, with Activity Based Cost Method and Orthogonal Experimental Design. After that, the thesis analyzes the simulation experiment result in detail, and concludes an optimized pull supply chain operation solution with cost saving. We can make use of this solution to establish distribution supply chain operation strategy in daily operation, which can help company to save total supply chain cost hugely. Although this thesis only does detailed analysis to distribution supply chain for specific customer (Lenovo), the whole distribution supply chain simulation model, (including pull system and push system), has been structured integrated. And we also reserved pretty sufficient model parameters and structure extended space, which can be used to do further analysis for other distribution supply chain in future.
