Ultra-short baseline (USBL)positioning system is a kind of underwaterpositioning detection technology which is now widely used in ocean development anddetection. Its main function is determining the exact location of remotely operatedvehicle, unmanned underwater vehicles, autonomous underwater vehicle, tow fish,driver and others under the water. As an important part of USBL positioning system,USBL lifting gear can accurately locate transducer to underwater position, whichdirectly affects the reliability and precision of ultra-short baseline positioning system.Combined with the current existing vessels and equipment, we put forward thedesign of the USBL lifting gear structure and successfully installed on the "dayangno.1" and achieved good results. In view of the good performance of USBL liftingdevices,"xiangyanghong no.9" will also be installed a set of the same equipment.This article is mainly aimed at the problems found during the process of testing andinstallation in the first device. After the completion of the analysis and improvementsto the problem, the new equipment will be installed on "xiangyanghong no.9". Inorder to shorten the development period and the cost savings of the equipment at thesame time, this paper proposes a new optimization of assembly seq uence, which canseffectively assembly equipment. At the end of the paper we utilize the finite elementsoftware ANSYS workbench to analysis the equipment by the modal analysis andharmonic response analysis. The results of the analysis and test results validate eachother, and the size of each component conforms to the requirements of the design,which means the overall device meeting the technical requirements.There are two innovations in this paper. one is put forward a new type of valveremote control scheme, the other one is put forward a kind of assembly sequenceoptimization scheme for the device. The new valve remote control scheme is safe andreliable and has a lower failure rate. Assembly sequence optimization is to use levelconnection diagram of ultra-short baseline and parts assembly of modeling. Then weuse hierarchical cut set method to generate ultra-short baseline and parts assembly sequence. Finally the optimal assembly sequence can be achieved by evaluating theoperation of the assembly sequence parallelism, stability, repeating orientation andpolymerized.
