The variogram played an important role in the geostatwastics and including two forms, such as experimental variogram and theoretical variogram, aim at the variogram studying of the calculation and fitting. Nowadays, the studying of the variogram are prefer theoretical variogram to experiment’, but the calculation and fitting of the experiment variogram was directly related to the theoretical variogram as follows. To characterize some of the characteristics of the ore body through change processes, nugget and sill three parameters, theoretical variogram function fitting is according to the scatter diagram obtained by experimental variogram, experimental variogram calculation is usually with the aid of step length, should the gap and Angle tolerance, Therefore, step length, the gap from the Angle and tolerance on the calculation of experimental variogram is directly related to the fitting accuracy of theoretical variogram。 In this paper, Based on the planned item of applied basic study in Yunnan province:Automatic calculation and fitting of the experimental variograms and the theoretical model, Collected8017assay data from19exploration line, Used Mine digital information system and3Dmine software packages to Calculation and fitting the experimental variogram. this paper achieved the results as follows based on the datas calculating and fitting which were reach from the Vanadium Titanium Magnet deposit in Panzhihua, Volcano, Jianjiabaobao mine.(1) build up the geological database for the simple and combine samples which can be added, deleted and revised, and make a convenience for the follow-up work.(2) the distribution law of the samples had been analysis and studied, besides, the histogram of grade distribution had been drawed, in which the sample total of the single and combination samples, average, variance, standard deviation, frequency distribution and the sample grade distribution are included.(3) the effect which was made by the individual to the variation parameters, such as step, tolerance angle and tolerance distance.(4) anisotropy spheroid, geometry anisotropy coefficient, anisotropy curve etc. had been achieved by fitting the variation of the Tfe grade in the mines by a method of the least square.(5) the results which were grade estimated by Kriging method and verified crossly are accord with the reality of the mining.
