The first national census of geographical conditions is China the earth like a raging fire, according to the geographical conditions, objective, authoritative census can accurately understand and grasp the basic situation of our country in the scope of land surface of natural, ecological and human activities.Geographic conditions and the education of science and technology, economic development, political, social, cultural and international relations situation and fusion, can deeply reveal the country and various provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, county, town or village of the social and economic development of the time and space evolution and inherent relation.As an important part of the geographical conditions of the census, land cover classification information extraction work is done directly affects the entire geographical conditions of the census work correctness, integrality and real-time, so the choice of a surface is simple, accurate and efficient cover classification information extraction method is of decisive significance to the geographic conditions survey.Our country is vast in territory, the terrain, complex terrain, mountains, hills, plateaus, plains, basins staggered distribution, so the choice of a surface matching with the terrain cover classification information extraction methods to ensure correct and efficient geographical conditions of the census work.So far, extraction method of land cover classification information may be classified into three categories:computer interpretation software automatic interpretation, interpretation software of computer automatic interpretation+ artificial visual interpretation and artificial visual interpretation. Three kinds of interpretation methods have their own characteristics, but with the development of society, the progress of science, especially the science of Surveying and mapping in the development and progress, the whole visual interpretation will eventually be eliminated by the surveying and mapping industry, there are computer interpretation software involved in the automatic interpretation will become the main trend of image interpretation.This paper mainly studies the computer interpretation software involved in the geographical situation land cover classification information extraction, both computer interpretation software automatic interpretation and computer interpretation software automatic interpretation+artificial visual interpretation. Between full manual visual features unique solution of Translation:accuracy is highest, so we can take the whole artificial visual interpretation of the results as the measure computer interpretation software automatic interpretation and computer interpretation software automatic interpretation+artificial visual interpretation of the results accuracy and low quality standards.The experimental data for the selection of the three regions in Huaning County of Yunnan Province as the research object, the three regional region belongs to the dam area, dam area respectively, the combination of mountains and mountain areas.
