In recent years, with the city’s rapid development,the city construction is facing new challenges.With the development of the city,the species and quantities of city undergroud pipeline are also increasing,underground pipeline questions emerge frequently, such as doing things in their own way of pipeline departments, randomly connecting and digging in the situation of unknown underground utilities at the construction field, which leads to dangerous accidents occur on occasion such as break-off of water pipes and electric cables, and gas explosion.Due to this, it appears more important to store and use urban pipeline data. At present, GIS technology has already formed a quite perfect and practical scientific system in our country, and made remarkable progress in underground pipeline management works, but it also has many difficulties in the three-dimension GIS domain, such as complexity to construct, speedily transmit and reality of three-dimension scene etc. this paper is based on existing academic research,put forward technical route of establishing 3D underground pipeline geographic information system.Underground pipeline system is comprehensive system which can displayed and analysis underground pipeline in the 3D environment. The establishment of 3D underground pipeline system, let the city’s underground pipeline is based on this system and make the pipeline without friction, has very important significance to the development of a city.This paper is based on the basic theory of three-dimensional GIS,taking Jinning County of Kunming city as an example,in the detection of Jinning County underground pipeline data for the premise,based on the 3D modeling technology of Skyline,taking the Jinning underground pipeline geographic information platform for the needs analysis and design of its function,which including the development of underground pipeline 3D modeling and the development platform of application functions.The main functions of the platform includes a line of three-dimensional data browsing,query,statistics,analysis and so on.This system taking Skyline as the platform development framework,the development of language use C#,development and design the underground pipeline management,finally achieve the city underground pipeline geographic information system based on Skyline. And the analysis are discussed in detail, the main functional analysis of 3D platform including distance, interval analysis,analysis of pipe burst and other functions.For three-dimensional modeling of underground pipelines and appendages are difficult with refinement problem, this paper proposes to use a third-party software for modeling, and finally baked rendering.This paper also studied the underground pipeline excavation, crash situation, improve the overall application analysis capabilities of the system, making this system has a wider popularity.
