Swertia mussotiis extracts are good for both liver and gallbladder,help reduce cholesterol numbers down.The meaning of studying Swertia mussotiis extract is quiet obvious.The object of this article is Swertia mussotiis chloroform extract.The essence hay of Swertia mussotiis after extracted with methanol 4 times,solid-liquid ratio is 1:6,once every4 h to extract,by reduced pressure distillation comes the extractum of Swertia mussotiis;Then mix the fully dry extractum with water and extract with Petroleum ether、Trichloromethane、N-butanol by order,and have corresponding extractum parts by reduced pressure distillation.The isolation and purification was performed by silica gel column chromatography and obtain six chemical compounds as listed: I:Decussatin;Ⅱ:Methylswertianin;Ⅲ:β-Sitosterol;Ⅳ:gentiacaulein;Ⅴ:methylbellidifolin;Ⅵ:bellidifolin.
