Ore forming prediction is to find favorable strata lithology, magmatic hydrothermal activity information, favorable tectonic site in the known geological environment, and delineate the possibility of mineralization in some sections through comprehensive analysis. The metallogenic prediction method including trend extrapolation method, inductive method, analogy method and comprehensive method etc., the remote sensing mineralization prediction as a new technology has the advantages of rapid investigation and evaluation of regional mineral resources, and how to effectively carry on the metallogenic prediction is the hot spot in the present study. Based on the analysis of the regional metallogenic geological conditions and the distribution of minerals, using a variety of remote sensing information processing technology,extracting alteration anomaly information,delineate the prospecting target area,and compared with the results of the field survey, analysis of its feasibility.In the first part, the paper makes full use of previous research results to analyze the metallogenic condition and its distribution in the study area, based on the characteristics of topography, the condition of bedrock exposure, the complexity of geological structure, and the exploration data of mineral resources; The second step is to analyze the characteristics of remote sensing image, using band fusion, contrast enhancement, filtering and other image enhancement processing methods to establish remote sensing interpretation signs,andinterpret lithologic strata, intrusive rocks and geological structures in the study area; The third step isto extractalteration anomaly information from ASTER data Using principal component analysis and spectral angle mapping techniques, focusing on extracting iron stain and hydroxyl alteration information, removal of water vegetation and other disturbances, and determine the remote sensing anomaly information related to mineralization; Finally, the remote sensing anomaly classification, delineate the prospecting target area and conduct field verification. At the same time, the analysis evaluation of the distribution characteristics and provide information support for next step mineral work and the choice of the key target area.
